What are the duties of an elderly caregiver?

1. Elderly caregivers act like friends of the elderly. Encourag the elderly to be able to live on their own and do thier daily routines by themself as much as possible
2. Take care of physical, mind and emotions of the elderly, because they are all delicate and affect the health of the elderly very much.
3. Take care of diet and nutrition. Provide a suitable environment for the elderly. Have skills and be able to organize recreational activities to slow down the deterioration of the body. Help with exercise which suitable for the elderly
4. First aid in case of accidents such as bruises, abrasions, burns, knife cuts, etc.
5. Observe the symptoms of common illnesses in the elderly and have emergency care and resuscitation skills.
6. Take care of personal errands such as brushing teeth, showering, cutting fingernails, toenails and getting dressed.

Does SAIJAI take care of patients with communicable diseases?

In the event that the patient has a disease that may be dangerous and may put the caregivers at risk, this means a patient who is ill with a communicable disease or has received treatment that could jeopardize the caregiver. Caregivers must follow the doctor's advice and therefore cannot provide monitoring services. Patients with diseases such as tuberculosis whose sputum is tested for influenza coronavirus (COVID-19) and patients undergoing treatment with radium and dangerous radioactive substances. The provider reserves the right not to take care of the above diseases including the 12 dangerous communicable diseases as announced by the Ministry of Public Health on 19 May 2016, namely plague, smallpox, Crimean-Congo dengue, West Nile fever, yellow fever, Lassa fever, Nipah virus infection. Marburg virus infection Ebola virus infection Hendra virus infection Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers) as well.

I have booked and already paid, but the elderly caregivers did not show up for the appointments. what should I do?

In the event that the service provider defaults and does not provide the service as you have booked, please inform SAIJAI immediately. We will try to track down the provider or find another service provider who can accept the job. We shall assist with postponing the appointment at your convenience. If there is no other service provider or you are unable to reschedule your appointment,we will refund all service fees you have paid through SAIJAI's system.

Can I review the service recived from the elderly care provider?

What services are included in your elderly care package?

Elderly care services include the service for elderly who are capable of taking care of themselves but under limited restrictions of daily activities and 1 service partner is for 1 elderly only. The service covers general hygiene procedures and not cover medical procedures such as blood draws, wound dressings, injections, change nasal tubes, change urinary catheter and clear phlegm. The service exclude cleaning service, cooking service and laundry service. For 24-hour service, clients must provide 3 meals a day for service partners.

Are your elderly care service partner trained and background-checked?

Yes, all service providers from Saijai must go through security background check with the Criminal Police Department. Once their background has been checked, they are eligible to accept the job via our platform.

How much does your elderly care service partner cost?

Please see the following details of our prices, 3 hours 700 baht Daily 1300 baht (working 8 hours, not including 1 hour break) The above rates are for 1 service partner per 1 elderly only and do not cover the services for medical treatment and other special needs.

Can maid work for a professional elderly care?

If you wish our maid to provide procedural services for elderly care such as tube feeding and etc. Saijai has to make sure that the maid has such experience. However, please consult our Customer Service team directly regarding the service fee and additional costs.

Which locations are you available to provide the services?

SAIJAI is available across major provinces in Thailand, such as Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, Hua Hin, and the surrounding Bangkok areas of Nonthaburi, Phatum Thani, and Samut Prakan. If you need a service outside of our available locations, please kindly consult with our customer service team directly.

Is there a cancellation or rescheduling policy for elderly care service appointments?

In the event that you need to cancel a paid service reservation, you can contact our customer service team at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. You will receive a full refund of the service fee within 1-3 business days. Please note that we reserve the right to provide full refunds in all cases where you cancel your booking less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Is there a satisfaction guarantee for your elderly care service?

We ensure that our service partners meet your satisfaction. Everyone is well-trained and experienced in housekeeping. After receiving the services, our customer service team will ask you to fill in a satisfaction survey. We value all comments and feedback to continuously improve our services.
